Extraction and minor oral surgery

Extraction is basically removal of the tooth from the socket. This procedure is carried out under local anesthesia. Sutures are giving after removal of the teeth and the patient returns after a week for follow up and suture removal. Some of the reasons for extraction are severe mobility, grossly decayed, pre-prosthetic, teeth that cannot be saved by root canal treatment (RCT) or repeated failure of RCT, retained milk teeth and impacted teeth.
